Assam Violence news in Hindi:

The Ministry of Home Affairs has banned bulk SMS and MMS for 15 days starting Friday.

This follows rumours leading to the mass exodus of the North-East people from Bangalore and other cities.

More than five SMS and MMS for  one number cannot be sent in one go. The ban has been imposed throughout the country.

पूर्वोत्तरवासियों की सुरक्षा को लेकर एसएमएस के जरिए फैली अफवाहों को देखते हुए गृहमंत्रालय ने 15 दिनों के लिए बल्क में भेजे जाने वाले एसएमएस एमएमएस पर रोक लगा दी है। इसके अलावा सोशल साइटों पर भी कड़ी निगरानी रखने के निर्देश दिए हैं। अभी तक अफवाह फैलाने को लेकर दो संदिग्ध ब्लॉगों को चिह्नित किया गया है।

इतना ही नहीं सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइटों पर भी रोक लगाने की मांग राज्यसभा में उठी है। असम और कर्नाटक में हालातों के सामान्य होने तक सांसदों ने इन साइटों पर रोक की मांग की है।

हालांकि खुफिया विभाग ने सोशल साइटों पर पहले से ही नजर रखना शुरू कर दिया है। राज्यसभा में समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता रामगोपाल यादव और शिवसेना के प्रवक्ता संजय राउत ने सोशल साइटों पर पाबंदी लगाने की वकालत की।
